Student Versions:

AutoCAD is licensed with a significant discount over commercial retail quantities of qualified students and teachers, with both a 14-month and unlimited license. The student version of AutoCAD is functionally identical to the full commercial version, created with one exception.

DWG files or handled by a student version have an internal bit flag is set (the "educational flag"). If such a DWG file from any version of AutoCAD will be printed (or commercial) student, the output is also a plot stamp / banner on all four sides. Objects in the student version have been created, can not be used for commercial purposes.
